Bio
I am part of the team that built the log aggregator EventGuard. We turned chaotic server logs into a clear, real time monitoring system. I manage the day-to-day operations for Marketing, Sales, and Product Development. Creating a connection between our product and customers is my passion.
I’ve been messing with computers for a living for a couple decades now. Started out at IBM, which was a great place to learn how understand customer needs and technology. From there I went to TBS, keeping TV feeds on the air, websites online, and launching new products. Which is more stressful than it sounds. Whole building catching fire at 2 AM because of viruses. Fun times.
Then I fell into the game industry. Did a stint at Midway, then THQ, publishing several video games. That taught me how to handle deadlines and software development. After the gaming career I landed at Scott Systems and later launched Trident Technologies.
Now I’m at EventGuard. Building a log aggregator from scratch with a small team. We’re taking all that noise servers spit out and turning it into something useful. After twenty plus years of reading log files, I finally get to build the tool I always wanted. Nothing fancy. Just something that works when you need it. That’s the goal.
