License Agreement & Billing
By deploying or using EventGuard, you agree to the following terms.
1.1 License Scope
Item Details
- Licensed to A single Dashboard server (identified by hostname + MAC address)
- Transferability Non-transferable. The license is locked to the server on which it was generated. It cannot be moved, copied, or reused on a different machine.
- Agents Unlimited. You may deploy agents to as many monitored machines as needed at no additional cost.
- Database size Unlimited. There is no restriction on the size of the PostgreSQL database.
- Data retention Events are retained for a maximum of 13 months in accordance with NIST SP 800-92 log management standards. Events older than 13 months are automatically purged daily by a background thread in the Dashboard service — no manual cleanup or scheduled task is required.

Licenses do not transfer. If you decommission a server and move the Dashboard to new hardware, a new Full license must be purchased. There are no refunds or credits for unused licenses on decommissioned servers.
